Traveling is all about the experience- Right?! Whether you are visiting Freeport for the first or the fourteenth February of 2018, we will be expanding our culinary offerings to include 2 new exciting options: Pretzel and Pizza Making Classes!
After years of limiting his audience to our family, Dave has agreed to share his skills with guests. Join us for one of our classes to not only impress your friends and family with your new culinary talent but have some fun with your fellow traveler.
Classes are either 90 minutes (Pretzel) or 2 hours (Pizza). Dave will share some of the history of both delights, walk you through a step-by-step recipe and then you and your fellow classmates will take over. You can learn to shape & twist pretzels and then enjoy them with artisanal mustards & cheese dipping sauces paired with a flight of Maine Craft brews.
Or perhaps Pizza is more your thing. Class participants will learn all you knead to know about dough, sauce basics, cheese basics and overall technique before topping with your fresh ingredients and baking to perfection.
No pizzeria-style oven required. The result is unbelievable pizzas from scratch, that you’ll create and enjoy eating “Inn our Kitchen” for a hands-on experience. Pair your crafted pizza with our selections of beer and wine, which are available for sale. Leave with the skills and knowledge needed to make great pizza in your own home!
Our classes are a great time for company team building or a group of friends. Ask us how you and your crew can take over the Inn for a weekend or just one night.

*Saturday, March 10: Pretzel & Beer Pairing Happy Hour: 4p-6p; $35pp; $60 per couple. (Free with 2 night stay)
*Saturday, March 17: Pizza from Scratch 5p-8p $50 pp; $85 per couple (Free with 2 night stay)
